Things I hope to regain sometime after the baby is born:
- Extra curly hair
- Freedom of movement
- Needing only 8 or so hours of sleep
- Being a fun, energetic, silly person
- My belly button

Nursery Annex
Bob and I spent the weekend setting up many of the wonderful things our friends and family gave us for the baby! He'll be living on the other side of our bedroom for the first several months. Seeing all his little things ready for him is making me even more excited and impatient to get him out.

ouch
I learned on Saturday that a stack of books is one thing that I can no longer pick up. I tried, and now my back is making me pay. I don't know what I did exactly, but it hurts, a lot, and it feels like it really needs to be popped, but it won't. But, thanks to the amazing Bob Ham, and my very cautious lifting of small things, we did get all of our wonderful new baby things put away, and the nursery annex set up on the other side of our bedroom.
Now all we need is this baby!

best and worst
best:
Janaki's brown skirt being too big for her and just right for pregnant me
going to bed at 5:30 in the evening
Floyd's coffee and a few dollars to spare
having dinner made for me and brought to me in bed
a mostly clean house, with no work from me
worst:
being woken up only to have someone be really rude to you
still feeling like you need a nap after 12ish hours of sleep
having a little too much to do at work, and really dreading all of it

finally
I was reminded by a friend? colleague? Someone that Bob knows - that I have not put up a latte blog post in a very very long time. Since becoming pregnant, in fact. And if that isn't explanation enough for you, go read a pregnancy book.
Anyway, I remembered distinctly enough two really bad lattes I've had in the past 7 months, so you can find those now on the latte blog

Things I need
Sleep. More than two and a half hours at a time please.
Food, regularly, that is not from a drive through.
Time with people that don't need anything from me.
A shower. That one at least I can take care of.
A time and place that is clean, quiet, relaxed, with no responsibilities.
